Soda makers have become increasingly popular in the last several years. They are a more economical way of consuming carbonated beverages, as the machines are generally inexpensive. If you do the math to calculate the cost of the machine, plus the syrups, and additional CO2 canisters, it still is cheaper than buying boxes of soda regularly. Thus, these machines generally pay themselves off pretty quickly. Additionally, they are more environmentally friendly. The CO2 canisters are refillable and recyclable, and the bottles for the machine are washable and reusable. Plus, by using a soda maker, you are not buying plastic or aluminium cans, or cardboard boxes, which further cuts down on waste. Overall, if you or your family drinks soda, these machines can be a great investment for both the planet and your wallet. One of these machines is the iSoda Eco and this article will provide a detailed description and review of this product.
The iSoda Eco comes in either black or red, which is interesting because many competing products on the market come only in black. The design of the machine is slim and sleek, which is nice because it has a small footprint – thus taking up less overall counter space. The pieces are well-fitted and sturdy as well. The CO2 canisters are refillable and the bottles are recyclable, which makes this a great environmental choice as well. The bottle that this machine comes with is BPA free and has a capacity of 1 liter. Additionally, the machine also comes with one free canister, which can make many, many liters of drinks. While this is an impressive laundry list of features, how does the iSoda Eco actually perform, and how does it compare to other similar models?
The soda maker is incredibly easy to use, as there is only a single button on the machine. Users are also impressed with how the machine functions, as it is fun and cool to watch the drink become carbonated in the bottle. The small CO2 canister that the Eco comes with is reported to last about a month, whereas the bigger cartridges that are available can last up to four months.

One Thought on “Review: iSoda Eco”
I bought this because it was cheaper than the comparable SodaStream machine. It works well and is fun to use. My only complaint is that cartridges are kind of expensive. The small one only lasted about 1 week for me.
